“Hands down the best way to experience Aruba’s food scene. Every stop had a story, and the flavors were unreal, especially the homemade Creole sauce at a Haitian stop and Caribbean cocktails. Come hungry because it’s way more than a tasting tour!” - Diego M., Miami, FL

OUR STORY
Aruba Eats was born from a deep love of culture, community, and of course, incredible food.
Growing up in New York, one of the most diverse cultural melting pots in the world, I learned early on that food is much more than just what’s on your plate. It’s a gateway to stories, traditions, and connections that bring people together.
When I moved to Aruba, I saw the island’s rich cultural blend — just like home, but with its own unique flavors and spirit. Inspired by this, I created a fun game with my friends to explore Aruba’s diverse food scene: using rock-paper-scissors to randomly choose restaurants and neighborhoods to discover.
This sense of adventure and curiosity around food is exactly what I wanted to share with visitors.
A note from
our Founder
I imagined this food tour years ago when I fell in love — in love with Aruba’s incredible flavors, its culture, its people, and the stories hidden in every dish.
Growing up in New York, I was surrounded by a beautiful chaos of cultures mixing and blending. When I moved here in 2017, I found that same magic, a melting pot of traditions coming together on this small island.
One day, I created a game with my friends to explore Aruba’s culinary landscape. It was my own twist on rock-paper-scissors to randomly decide which spots we’d try next and a fun way to dive into the island’s diverse options, bite by bite. Over time, I became fascinated by the stories behind the different foods I’d try, and connected with chefs and local F&B business owners to hear their journeys and inspirations.
The experiences we offer are journeys into the heart of the island. It’s about tasting authentic flavors, meeting the people who pour their soul into their craft, and experiencing Aruba beyond the postcard.
So come curious, come hungry, and let’s explore Aruba together — one delicious bite and one unforgettable story at a time.
